{"id":17986,"date":"2025-07-14T09:02:44","date_gmt":"2025-07-14T07:02:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.icpf.cas.cz\/?page_id=17986"},"modified":"2025-07-15T19:02:38","modified_gmt":"2025-07-15T17:02:38","slug":"bazant-postgraduate-conference-2022","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.icpf.cas.cz\/en\/bazant-postgraduate-conference-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Ba\u017eant Postgraduate Conference 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Ba\u017eant Postgraduate Conference took place on 13 and 14 June 2022 in the Great Assembly Hall of the ICPF.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">22 students from the 1st to 4th year, who completed their doctoral dissertations at the ICPF in cooperation with Czech and foreign universities, presented their papers in English.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The best papers were selected by a committee consisting of<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ing. Mat\u011bj Hu\u0161ek<\/strong> <em>Removal of PFASs from sewage sludge by pyrolysis<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The committee decided to also award the best presentation for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> year<\/span><\/span><\/span>: <strong>Mahasoa-Salina Souvenir-Zafindrajaona, MSc.<\/strong>\u00a0<em>Synthesis of biobased ionic liquids from the choline for lignin derivatization<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><br \/>\nThird-to Fourth-year Students<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup> place: Ing.<strong> Anton\u00edn Edr<\/strong> <em>Adaptive synthesis of functional amphiphilic dendrons for drug nanocarrier assembly<\/em><\/p>\n<p>2<sup>nd<\/sup> place: <strong>Ing. Lenka Mich\u00e1lkov\u00e1<\/strong> <em>NMR-based metabolomic analysis of blood plasma as a pancreatic cancer diagnostic tool<\/em><\/p>\n<p>3<sup>rd<\/sup> place: <strong>Ing. Simona Luc\u00e1kov\u00e1<\/strong> <em>Continuous electrocoagulation of Chlorella vulgaris in a novel channel-flow reactor<\/em><\/p>\n<p>4<sup>th<\/sup> place: <strong>Ing. Jakub Crha<\/strong> <em>Experimental study of bubble dynamics in aqueous solutions of simple alcohols: CFD validation data<\/em><\/p>\n<p>5<sup>th<\/sup> place: <strong>Mahdi Bourassi, MSc.<\/strong> <em>Tetracycline degradation using catalysts of platinum coated over CeO<sub>2<\/sub> and CeO<sub>2<\/sub> ZrO<sub>2<\/sub><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A new feature this year was the voting of doctoral students for the best presentation.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In this &#8220;sympathy competition&#8221;, the lecture of <strong>Anton\u00edn Edr<\/strong> received the most votes, making him the overall winner of this year&#8217;s event.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ba\u017eant Postgraduate Conference took place on 13 and 14 June 2022 in the Great Assembly Hall of the ICPF. 22 students from the 1st to 4th year, who completed their doctoral dissertations at the ICPF in cooperation with Czech and foreign universities, presented their papers in English.
