Amazing Fireproof Coating"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The research team led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icpf.cas.cz\/en\/employee\/ing-sobek-jiri-ph-d\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ing.<\/a><\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Ji\u0159\u00ed Sobek, Ph.D.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">prepared an active paint that retards fire (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jhyP8NsjCu8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a>).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This fire-resistant coating was created as a result of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic project in 2021-2023 (TREND 3, <a href=\"https:\/\/starfos.tacr.cz\/en\/projekty\/FW03010674\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FW03010674<\/a>) in cooperation with an industrial partner (Ing. Mgr. Zden\u011bk Vos\u00e1tka, <a href=\"https:\/\/vodnisklo.cz\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vodn\u00ed sklo, a.s.<\/a>).<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The aim of the project was to prepare aluminum-based modifiers that are suitable as additives to sodium and potassium silicate so that their application creates a mixture that has strong fire-retardant effects on the material.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The sodium or potassium silicate modified in this way was tested on various materials for its application and retarding efficiency.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Another aim of the project was to prepare an expansion material that, when mixed with additive sodium silicate, created an intumescent coating that was applied to various surfaces and tested for its retarding capabilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The research team led by Ing.
