Expression and portative detection of banned compounds using innovative techniques: flexible and chiral SERS, selective surface extraction, neural networks

Abstract:

The proposed project is focused on the research and development of new structures, principles, and generations of devices for the detection of prohibited and dangerous substances in containers, including narcotic and psychotropic substances (hereinafter referred to as “prohibited substances”). The basic idea of the project is to create highly efficient systems combining efficient air collection from shipping containers, advanced elements for extraction and detection of trace amounts of analytes from the air using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS elements), and intelligent artificial neural network algorithms capable of efficiently analyzing SERS. data and eliminate the influence of the interfering environment (presence of other “permitted” volatile compounds in the air).
