Responsibilities

The Secretariat of the Director provides comprehensive administrative, organizational, and coordination support to the management of the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals of the CAS. It serves as the central point of contact for internal and external communication, public relations, interaction with the bodies of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and other institutions.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

• Executive Management Support: Administrative and operational agenda for the Director, Deputy Directors, and the Scientific Secretary.
• Organization of Meetings and Events: Support for meetings of the Institute’s governing bodies (Board of the Institute, Supervisory Board, Director’s Board), including document preparation, minute-taking, and coordinating official visits and events.
• Document Management and Registry: Central mailroom management, registration of incoming and outgoing correspondence, official data box administration, archiving, and document workflow coordination.
• Coordination of Internal Regulations: Registry, tracking, and publishing of directives, Director’s decisions, and organizational rules.
• Public Relations and Communication: Handling general public inquiries, liaising with departments, and maintaining the Institute’s central calendar of events.
