Open Science
Open Science makes scientific research, publications, data and information accessible and disseminates them at all levels.
At the Czech Academy of Sciences, Open Science is handled by the Library of the CAS
- Operates and develops the CAS institutional repository – ASEP for publications and the storage of research data (the Institute’s contact person is Eva Jirsová)
- Coordinates support in setting up the Institute’s internal publication and data policies when drafting key documents (e.g. the ICPF Open Science Policy, the ICPF Open Science Strategy, methodological guidelines for publishing and providing access to scientific results under Open Access at the ICPF)
- Supports education through seminars and organises training in Open Science and research data management
- Offers consultations on meeting Open Science requirements of individual funding providers
- Provides access to the FAIR Wizard tool for creating a Data Management Plan (DMP)

- Provides information on Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN)
