This presentation is dedicated to the recently published paper as the last outcome of the three-year project focused on membrane separation of gasoline vapours from air. In this paper we have analyzed the applicability of Hansen and Hoftyzer and van Krevelen solubility parameters for the prediction of potential VOC/N2 (volatile organic compounds/nitrogen) separation efficiency. It was found that Hansen solubility parameters can be successfully applied for the prediction of permeability order of some types of hydrocarbons.
