Abstract:
Termizo plant produces annually 3000 tons of fly ash, which is treated by acid extraction with technological water from the wet scrubber. The technology has an unexploited potential and nowadays it leads to the production of hazardous wastes – filter cake with the content of acid extract purification products. The main goal of the project is the development of technology for recovery of metals, salts, and gypsum within this process by means of verification of individual steps – the optimization of acid extraction, recovery of Pb, Cu by means of cementation, production of Zn-rich filter cake, the crystallization of technical salts and gypsum production. The basic design of the whole technology, including techno-economical analysis, will be prepared as well.
