Cinder as a Base for Roads. Scientists are Investigating what to do with Incinerator Residues
It’s easy to open the lid of a trash can and throw something in. But waste from unsorted trash ends up in a landfill or incinerator. Neither option is optimal. Michal Šyc from the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals of the CAS is researching how to use the slag left over from incinerating waste. His research was supported by the AV21 Strategy program.
