Researchers from the Institute of Chemical Processes Fundamentals of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic have long sought to include both high school and grammar school students in their research activities. As part of one such collaboration, between the student Vít Novotný from the Jan Palach Grammar School in Mělník and the Department of Chemistry and Aerosol Physics was created an award-winning high school professional activity placed 2nd in the national competition. Part of the results of this work was further presented in the article Excursion to the world of atmospheric aerosols, which was published in the scientifical popularisation journal Vesmír.
