Detailed atmospheric aerosol composition within and above the mixing layer
Aerosols have a significant impact on many processes in the atmosphere but they are mainly studied in detail at ground level. Studies focusing on their changes with altitude are rather rare. The aim of this work will be to study the detailed composition of aerosols, focusing on changes in a vertical profile. For this purpose, unique infrastructure of the National Atmospheric Observatory Košetice (NAOK) will be used in the form of a 250 m high mast in combination with measurements using an aerosol mass spectrometer with the highest detection resolution (LToF-AMS).
Required education and skills
- Master degree in chemistry, environmental studies or meteorology;
- systematic and creative approach to work;
- both independence and team work ability.
