Grant Agency of the ICPF
Grant Agency of the ICPF (GA ICPF) was established to support workers who are or are returning from a career break within the OP JAK project “ICPF Return Grants” (registration number CZ.02.01.01/00/24_037/0013817). GA ICPF ensures the entire agenda of return grants, including the preparation of tender documentation, announcement of calls for return grants, coordination of the evaluation process, monitoring, and evaluation of the results of the resolved return grants in accordance with the rules of this project.
Ongoing Call for Applications for Return Grants handled at the ICPF
- Start of application intake: June 1, 2025
- Final deadline for applications: April 30, 2028
- First interim deadline: September 30, 2025: Number of Applications received: 3 Number of Return Grants awarded: 3
- Second interim deadline: December 31, 2025: Number of Applications received: 0
- Third interim deadline: April 30, 2026
- Subsequent deadlines: Will be announced on a rolling basis
Call Specifications
- The Return Grant is intended for researchers and doctoral students returning from a career break.
- Applicants may include both current ICPF employees and individuals who are not employed at ICPF at the time of application, provided they meet the criteria for returning from a career break.
- The career break is defined as a period of at least 180 calendar days during which the applicant was unable to engage in full-time research activities due to maternity or parental leave, long-term caregiving, or long-term illness.
- The scientific focus of the Return Grant must align with the research priorities of ICPF and the specific research group in which the grant will be carried out.
