Announcement of the First Continuous Call for Applications for Return Grants Implemented at ICPF

• Start of application intake: June 1, 2025
• Final deadline for applications: April 30, 2028
• First interim deadline: September 30, 2025
• Subsequent deadlines: Will be announced on a rolling basis

 

Call Specifications

• The Return Grant is intended for researchers and doctoral students returning from a career break.
• Applicants may include both current ICPF employees and individuals who are not employed at ICPF at the time of application, provided they meet the criteria for returning from a career break.
• The career break is defined as a period of at least 180 calendar days during which the applicant was unable to engage in full-time research activities due to maternity or parental leave, long-term caregiving, or long-term illness.
• The scientific focus of the Return Grant must align with the research priorities of ICPF and the specific research group in which the grant will be carried out.
